This wasn't a typical week for me. Every free moment that I had between last Thursday and this evening has been dedicated to helping my daughter prepare for her science fair. It's not what I would call my passion, but it was a fun experience for us. Unfortunately, I don't have a sequence of photos documenting my life for the last week. But here is a shot that should sum up all the time spent with glue, scissors, and clip art.

I KNOW how DIFFICULT it is to take process shots in the heat of the activity and deadlines. I face this challenge every time I do a K-12 Artist in Residence project.

.....those are the prize winning shots, the most memorable, interesting and Tell the Story shots!
In this shot, you leave the viewer to search their memories to imagine what your daughter's (and yours) creative process of developing the science fair project was like. Which works too.
Yet, I bet there were some very cool GLUE, SCISSORS, Clip Art and EMOTIONS moments that you would have liked to record for future memories!
Sometimes, I engage a student to be "photographer of the day", with specific shot list or I get 127 goofy portrait exposures of their two friends. That way I get some work in progress shots, rather then just the final result!
It looks like it turned out awesome! Very creative. I remember those days...
