Deana's Travel junk drawer

1/60 ~ f 5.6 ISO 125 I found that if I had this a little bright in the color exposure it made the black and white look better. Attempted to take shot indoors, and then went outside and found the lighting was much better (thanks Barb) which made the color in the color really pop.

  1. I like your creative problem solving in considering other options beyond the "conventional" junk drawer! When I saw you sitting at your desk, setting up your 'still life' I noticed that the light was pretty dull and your contrast would be bland. The B/W does add to the shapes, lines, forms, textures, etc. The balance works too. What do you think about 'Mickey' in the center?

  2. I think I would have liked to have done Mickey to the left or right corner...I didn't even think of that when I was setting it up. I am sure he would have ended up on the left side and I would have been able to show more of the junk in the bag. And I actually don't have a junk drawer at home.
