I'm wondering how you got this effect. Were you at about 18mm? And how did you get his head (and the whole outer/upper edge) so hazy? Maybe just angling the camera with a really low f-stop? It looks like Andrea might just walk through some portal and end up at Hogwarts! It's a neat effect.
True 16mm (full frame sensor), f/8, 1/60, ISO 50. meter partial.
I know this 16-35mm L lens creates fisheye like distortion when angled, so used it to an advantage in this shot. B/C it was so bright, I sacrificed DOF for motion blur knowing it would be easier to soften the static background, then it would to create motion blur in software.
I would have liked a little more sky around his hat, and can do it in CS4, but would rather have gotten it right at the time of capture.
