This was taken at Nisqually. I thought the water had a really cool viscous quality today, like liquid mercury. I was trying to set up a shot with the sun reflection included in the corner so it would look like more of a classic landscape and then a group of geese swam through the scene. The photo is rotated 180 degrees. I think it looks like the goose is swimming right through the sky.
Because you flipped it, for me this image feels mystical like you might be able to step into the water and be transported into this other world. I love that about it. I'd love to see it printed or on a calibrated monitor. :)
